We created this site to tell you about Union Springs and Bullock County. We want you to know what a great place this is to do business, to visit, and to live.
Our motto, "Planning for the Future... Preserving the Past," fits. We are a comfortable rural community. We strive to preserve the charms of small town living while planning and working for a better tomorrow for our citizens.
In addition, we are also very good at Enjoying the Present. Bullock County is the Bird Dog Field Trial Capital of the World, home of the prestigious annual National Amateur Free-For-All Championship each February. The area offers some of the best deer, quail, and turkey hunting and bass fishing in the country. We also have a rich cultural history which we share in our annual Conecuh People play at the Red Door Theater.
