Dixie Electric Cooperative is one of Alabaman's 23 rural electric cooperatives serving over 20,500 electric member-owners in eight Alabama counties including Barbour, Bullock, Lee, Lowndes, Macon, Montgomery, Pike and Tallapoosa.
It has offices located in Union Springs and Montgomery, AL. Since 1976, Dixie Electric has also operated South Bullock Water System through an Operations and Management Agreement. South Bullock now provides portable drinking water to over 2,500 water consumers.
